From first enquiry to delivered goods, a request moves through six steps. Nothing is ordered until you have approved a written quotation.
You send the specification, quantity, destination and any deadline. If the specification is incomplete, we ask the questions that would otherwise cause the wrong goods to arrive.
We approach suppliers who can meet the specification and verify that they are able to supply the quantity and quality described.
You receive a written quotation: unit price, total, lead time, delivery terms and payment terms. It is valid for a stated period.
On acceptance, a purchase order is issued and confirmed with the supplier. You receive the order confirmation and expected dates.
Goods are collected, inspected where agreed, and shipped. Commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents are issued and sent to you.
Delivery is confirmed against the order. Shortages, damage or specification failures are raised with the supplier and pursued on your behalf.
Talia deals in lawful goods only. Before an order is accepted, the goods, the destination and the counterparty are checked against this list.
Where a requirement is legitimate but needs a licence, we will say so and decline rather than proceed informally.
